Leaving your party and seeking to remain in parliament in its proper sense means that you cannot enter parliament on one party's ticket and later decide to abandon that party and move to another party in that parliament. That will mean that you are reducing the numbers of your previous party and increasing the numbers of your new party within the same parliament

Then with this explanation, and taking into consideration the inputs of the 5 judges, Hon. Asiamah(Fomena MP) must vacate his seat. How can one whose former party(now current party-NPP) write to Parliament that they don't recognise him as a member and expel him then come into Parliament as a MP on the ticket of an Independent Candidate now stand on the ticket of that party that expelled him after being recognised by that party and allow him to go through the processes and procedures that NPP demands, win their primaries and still be in Parliament as an Independent Candidate. He is currently in Parliament on the ticket of an Independent Candidate but is a NPP member..How is that so..this flaws the ruling,honestly
