Confusion galore. These lawyers are part of Ghana's problems. I am not too surprise about the shambolic performance of this "Lawyer" president too. One law profession with different opinions. Every profession follows their rules and regulations except this LAW profession. A bunch of hypocrites. They keep on contradicting themselves depending on who the judges owe allegiance to. Meanwhile they all went to the same law school. Ask any accountant, doctor, nurse, teacher, engineer etc their professional guidelines are so clear with no ambiguity.

Note that the clause just before clause (g) of article 97talks about resignation. The justices in my view, just struggled to sanction what I call 'political prostitution'.

The majority leader is a politician and can do anything to his party's advantage but love for country should have directed him to the high court to go and seek the address he did at SC that is the problem. The parliament makes laws and uses laws. The speaker doesn't interpret laws. And the SC also has its mandate which does not involve in this matter. Next year people will start sending their marriage matters and business matters and school matters to the SC because the door is now open.
