  How could they not have thought of this? That is so curious. what is the quality of thinking that went into drafting the constitution? That is an outdated piece of work, unfit for modern day governance.

  There's no perfect constitution the world over. It is incident and events that causes them to be amended into perfect constitution.

Could this be a well calculated ploy to have some one sue the EC over the decision to maintain the picture of a dead person on the ballot paper.. is it becomes an issue could it be that the EC can be directed to halt any declaration as by then JM is the winner and needs to be declared by the mandated body to do so anaaa.. you see I am just thinking aloud and also testing my IQ so no vex...

  Nonsense. Ghana has more lawyers than one can think of, yet the country's many laws and regulations are comical. Why will a bunch of law-makers and others not anticipate an election candidate not dying in the course of an election and then enact laws or regulations to address that eventuality? Many of the clauses in Ghana's Constitution make no sense, and must be changed, while some of the laws of the country need to be made more specific.
