I feel your pain; however if your is true. I stayed in the US for 12 years and was seriously abused my ex-wife who is a Ghanaian and have 3 kids including beautiful set of twins with her. I was doing all the chores in the house including washing, ironing, dish washing, removing trash. My ex-wife's behavior suddendly changed when Osama Bin Laden blasted USA and I lost my well-paid job. From that time she started disrespecting and belittling me in the presence of my friends and her friends. On several occasions in the presence she will command me to take trash away. She went to the extent of seeking child's support and alimony from the court. She also found away for the kids to gang up against me. The meant I had to get a second job to supplement the meager pay I was receiver after losing my pay job. I paid the child support and alimo for just three months and came up with an idea of relocating to Ghana. At the time of coming to Ghana my oldest kid was 14 years and the twin daughters were 11 years old. I got to Ghana with just 2 dollars in my pocket. On the hindsight I think I made the right decision. Few years down the line after relocating to Ghana, I started making more money from a business that I set up here than I could have made in USA. At a point, I sent more money to them in the USA than the child support the court ask me to paid. My son joined me few year later where I enrolled him at Galaxy International at East Legon then, and Ashase University. He went back to USA in 2016 to read law and he is now a lawyer. My twins; one has graduated as a Software Engineer and the other is graduating as Medical Doctor next year all through my effort. The iron of this who narrative they rather turned against their mother. I am now happily married with two beautiful kids. I always say that "make the best out of the worst situation"..Big Sam, stay strong and have faith in the God you worship. It shall be well!
