In fact, the AYEWS true spelling is AYUU. Why this matter is up now? Dan Kwaku Yeboah interviewed Sola and asked if they are related to the Akans because of the name, and, Sola answered. In fact it has been months since the interview. On S K Manu. S K Manu made a promise to the then Ghana colts association and it was that who ever won the best player award in colts division would be sponsored in education up to university level. Abedi won! S K fulfilled his promise and sponsored Abedi. That’s about it. For you to sit behind a keyboard saying what SK would be turning in his grave is farce and absurd. S K did create the family. He sponsored Abedi because Abedi proved his worth and won the sponsorship. The AYEWS are NOT ungrateful as you stated above. The whole of nothern Ghana goes patrilineal, so in the north it doesnt matter where your mother hails, if your father is a kasena and your mother is British, you are a kasena. If your father is a Dagaati and your mother is Asante, you are a Dagaati, if your father is a Dagomba and your mother is a Ga, you are a Dagomba. So Solar Ayew should have been laying emphasis on the origins of their father and not their mother to justify that they are Kasena's per northern Ghana traditions.
