  Congrats madam. But you are not the first with Red Diploma from Russia. There is on guy who had it in Odecca Ukraine in the 90s for Economics and Statistics. His name is Hanson

  I don't have the fact but I'm also aware some African students have won it recently and have been retained in Russia to work there.By the way well done madam for having the courage to come back to Ghana.

  Point of Correction Odessa is a city in Ukraine I think we even have an Odessa Oblast(region).They were all part of the Soviet Union( now 15 Countries)

  Yes Kwaku you are right. Odessa is a port city in southern Ukraine and not in Russia. Ukraine used to be part of the Soviet Union though.

  It’s a lie. Lots of Ghanaians have graduated with Red diplomas in Russia. You are not the first. About 15 people graduated with Red diplomas in 2017, 2018 and the years coming. This is no news

  Bush uneducated boy. In decent polite society, at worse you say that the information is incorrect - especially when addressing a lady - an exceptionally intelligent one at that. And if you are sure that your opinion is correct, you provide proof. If that proof is not forthcoming, then we the observers reserve the right to use your own language to rubbish your opinion as a lie. Meanwhile we congratulate the young lady for crossing linguistic barriers and achieving such high academic laurels and beyond that, to have the boldness and pride to return to serve Africa and not our oppressors.

The foreigners don't sit in the same lecture rooms with locals to receive same training and sit the same exams like it is done in the West. These Russian trained folks are half-baked, (like Joshua Alabi). Ghana has several doctors trained in Russia. How many of them are prominent enough to be teaching in any of our Teaching Hospitals?

  She is definitely NOT the first and will not be the last. "Krasnie " Diplom or Red Diploma has been earned by SEVERAL Ghanaians and other black African students from the 60s up till now. She has done well and we congratulate her for that ....but please don't over-exaggerate her achievements. Such reporting is highly problematic and undermines the credibility of the article.

  In 1983 two out of the five of us who read Russian Language and Literature got red soviet Master of Arts Degree.
  Three of us are alive today and the other two have passed on.
  Kindly note that diploma in the Soviet Union and Russia are fist and second degrees.
