Back to the issues, completing projects isn't policy. Anyone can do that. Akufo-Ado and Bawumia performed better than John Dramani. Akufo-Ado remains the only president in our history who has managed single digit inflation for 4 consecutive years (2018-2021). Nkrumah did for 3 consecutive years (1960-1963) though the lowest in our history. Ankrah, Africa, Olennu, Akufo-Ado Snr did a combined 4 years single digit inflation (1968-1971). Rawlings did 1 year (1999). Kuffor did in 2002. Atta-Mills did in 2011. John Mahama did none! This is how the history will be read by future generations. If you analyse the high inflation in the last two years of Akufo-Ado without looking into what is happening globally, you have a big problem. It's clear the current inflation has nothing to do with incompetence. Akufo-Ado is undisputed on freeSHS policy. The only indicator the NDC run to is exchange rate. But even with that if you do the percentage increase, they did less. It may seem illogical, but you will also wonder why despite the high exchange rate freeSHS, and other massive projects are going on, public sector employment hasn't frozen despite IMF, nurses and teacher trainee allowances are being paid, more roads are contructed, railway development is going on etc. Whats the magic? Don't be deceived by propaganda.
