I think you may not know the Professor well. The Prof. studied marketing and excelled in that endeavor. He excelled in the USSR and continue to excel in all endeavors. Before he joined IPS, I knew a lot of people who completed IPS without any form of certificate. Either they couldn't register for their exams or failed. He came and changed the face of struggling IPS to the current UPS, making it leading professional cum academic university in Ghana. Prof Alabi, a real game changer who led NDC to victory.

If The NDC keep to their promise and prevent corruption in governance and take the people along with them in governing the Country then it will take a long time for the NPP to come into power again. The NPP numbers at the pool in the previous years are not genuine figures especially vote from the Ashanti Region. The NDC must also call for a new CI for our elections and change the whole law on the section for collation. We have to put in a tight and flexible system for collation such that we have to collation with only pink sheets when there is no protest by the various party agents at the close of poll.

The VP was disadvantaged not just by a broken economy but a tainted regime that refused to reshuffle or dismiss Ministers to keep the party base for primaries intact. It was a risky political strategy that annoyed the mass of NPP voters who felt taken for granted so stayed at home.
