The Mamprusi, who are from North East Region, are settlers in Bawku which is in the Upper East Region far away. Boko, as you mentioned, is a Kusasi word which means valley. The place was named so by the Kusasi because it is located in a low land. The devilish Mamprusi should leave the peaceful Kusasi people alone. All the killings have been carried out by Mamprusi. Go to Adawso, a town near Koforidua in the Easter region. It is full of Ewes, and do you hear such killings going on? Every Ghanaians can live anywhere within Ghana but should be law abiding. Why can't the Kusasis and Mamprusis live together but love to kill themselves? When these people come to the South, they are welcome but why can't they live together? I don't understand that.

In the Bawku case, the settler Mamprusi want to be the chiefs over the Kusasi. It is just like you giving me accommodation in your house and I wanting to be your landlord in your own house.

The Mamprusi are very diabolic. Why did the paramount chief of Mamprusi enskin a Mamprusi to be chief of Bawku when the Kusasi already have their own Bawku chief?
