PRESS ON AND GET THE RIGHT SENTENCE FOR YOUR GIRLS...... THEY ARE NOT ANIMALS
There are no right sentences ooo these are the laws. If someone at his age commit such offence, that is the right application of the law even though it is sad.
It is now that you go to civil court to claim monetary loss. Yousue the boy and family in court and claim 1 billion cedís for the loss. Even if the court grants 20 years you don't gain but now go to civil court
I think the Chief Justice shd call for a re-trail of this case it is a dent on the image of the Judiciary. Money has changed hands somewhere.
Are you thinking the same thing as me? This implies that we can employ contract assassins under the age of eighteen to carry out nefarious tasks; they will serve a six-month term, after which we will assist the children and t ...

Good point. Good observation.
Totally share grandma's frustrations with the disappointing sentence. But unfortunately, that's the state of the law, grandma. Sad.
Our laws always favor the so called elites in the society
Me if i was one of ther family member aa like i won't say anything
Hm
As the boy had been sentenced , they can start civil process against the family.
The Judge must be jailed
Jail the Judge for what offence? Ignorance is indeed expensive.
This is not a judgement, it is so unfair to the family of the victims, all because you have a position in society 6000 ghana cedi fine to allow your 16 years old son driving a car. There are poor people sentenced 5 years for s ...

A court is a place where games are played. It can have a bar with a net. The umpire calls the players to the bar to negotiate when there is a foul for a favourable outcome in a fair game.
The boy didn’t buy the car . The owner of the car is responsible for what happened because he took the risk in the first place . The boy is a kid no judgement.
Boy father,
You say this because you are not a victim. Should it have happened to one of yours, you would be singing a different song.
Hey Boy Father, read the law as stated by NAKA here. The maximum sentence of three years should have been applied here.
Also, how can less than 7000 Ghana cedis repair that traffic light???? This is travesty of justice.

Please consider suing the father for not ensuring that the keys to the vehicle were properly kept and out of the reach of his son.He is partly to be blamed for this heinous crime.
I hope he banned from driving for the rest of his life
With this, seemingly insult on the deseased, more sons and daughters of pastors are. given a lisence to follow suit. What can halt people from saying the pastor has paid for his son's freedom to kill? Very stupid sentenser.

Instant justice is here to live with, til Eternity, since nobody is doing nothing, about our corrupt Judicial System..
Is it about law or morality? Let us stop the layman judgement and stick to the laws. Juvenile laws are considerate as compared to adults status. Take it in good faith my people
Instant justice is here to live with us til Eternity, since nobody is doing nothing, about our corrupt Judicial System..
I now understand why people were against the judiciary during the revolutionary days. These judgments incite violence against these “judges”.
IS THAT WHAT THE LAWS OF OUR COUNTRY DEMANDED?? WHO ARE THE LAWYERS REPRESENTING THESE FAMILIES?? GET YOUR ACTS TOGETHER?
This is sad , but that's what the law states.

The Court has spoken in the criminal case. But the two families have a civil case to file against The Salifu Amoako family for huge damages. They should immediately get a good lawayer.
Take the child and his parent to civil court. That's where you can win big penalty judgement, and the civil court can really punish the dad financially. you can always bring a civil suit charge even after the criminal trial.
