I think the feeding aspect should not be totally free. Parents can be asked to pay for Supper. I have been in the School System of Ghana for years and can tell you that Feeding is the most expensive and difficult aspect of taking care of students in the Boarding Houses. If parents are to pay for all the feeding of their wards in the Boarding and Lodging Houses, l don’t know how many people from the Northern part of Ghana can send their children and wards to school there. Luckily for them, they have been freely fed for many decades Let them pay for something for now so that they will not be having all the many children. Look, Mahama is said to have 18 or 21 children. He is able to take care of them because they eat and lodge for free. If he wasn’t the President and could easily lay his hands on State money, how could he do that. It is hard so let parents and guardians pay for something towards the feeding of the children at school. Yes, there should be no exceptions. All Ghanaian students must pay something towards boarding. Parents will stop breeding like Pigs.

How long did our brothers from the North enjoy Free Education while even the poorest from the South paid? Why should people like Mahama and children of some very rich people from the North have free education while people like you and me who were not fortunate to have parents who had everything free from the Government paid? I like Free Education for all Ghanaian children but parents should be made to pay something reasonable to help in the education of their children. Can you imagine the number of very rich parents from the North who never paid a Pesewa towards the education of their children? Let all Ghanaians pay something towards education or keep quiet when things don’t go on right as expected.

Every northerner in school was sponsored by the various local councils. The Dagomba District Council was one of the richest in the Gold Coast a even sponsored to attend good schools in the South. How many people in Ghana pay taxes towards anything? If Mahama is not able to pay, we shall see how Northerners can afford to attend Boarding High Schools in the country. Yes, it is time for all Ghanaian parents to pay something towards feeding at the schools. You don’t breed like Pigs for others to pay towards their education. I know that many people from the North will disagree with me but it has got to the time that all parents and guardians pay something towards the feeding and boarding of their children at the schools. Day students can be exempted unless they decide to eat some meals at the schools.
