Just to record your sugar coated promises for delivery: unemployment to fall down to zero percent, 1 dollar to GHs 3.00, a bag of cement to be GHs 30.00, Free SHS to be extended to private schools, 24hr to be implemented as soon as possible and sustained throughout your 4 years stay in government and beyond, women's development bank to be established, akoko kikikiti and GHs 500.00 cedis to be shared to every Ghanaian every month, corruption to be eliminated and nobody should wake up to news of scandals, protect the public purse, removal of e-levy, betting tax, and other taxes on petroleum products, reduction of import taxes at the ports,etc. We are here and waiting.

Obviously crooked Ablakwa is portraying himself as a clean man. This is disgusting, but not exactly a surprise because this is all that Ghanaian politicians do- good pretenders. Our politicians have no integrity. JM was once the gatekeeper of corruption in his government and head of the empire of corruption and looting leaving no meat on the bones. He claims he can save us but I predict he will do nothing to improve the quality of life in the country. Rather, he has perfected the way to steal from the people.

As for lawlessness being spearheaded by NDC goons, it has come to stay. The police and army cannot contain the wanton level of lawlessness. Despite the super parliamentary majority, little (close to nothing) will be achieved (similar to 1993-1996 when NPP boycotted the parliamentary elections). We should brace ourselves for more economic and social hardships (Kenkey will cost 10 cedis, gallon of petrol will be 170 cedis, $1 will be 25 cedis by December 2028).
