Akuffo Addo's FSHS policy impressed only irresponsible parents who gave birth to children without thinking about their future education needs. Of course as a politically imposed national policy, many other tax-paying parents - without choice, benefitted from the "free" attendance aspects of the badly managed scheme without being impressed and falling for it as an election propaganda gimmick. It is now up to the new NDC govt to clean the FSHS up with some vintage quality and put the name of Ghana back on top as a respectable country in the area of education.
