Just see the speed with which the courts are rushing to deal with these election cases. For the prior elections 2020, the cases were slowly handled, and they lasted several years. But now they are acting swiftly just to avert ...

Oh I’m disappointed. The NDC is going to put its hands in the mouth of Supreme Court again? The court has been packed by party faithfuls. What ruling are they expecting?

  • FRANKIE 11 months ago

How I wish for a rerun of Parliamentary elections in all those constituencies in dispute!

GHANA IS UNDER ATTACK!! NDC HAS WAGED A WAR AGAINST ALL GHANAIANS. YOU ARE GOING TO SUFFER FOR CHOOSING INCOMPETENCE OVER COMPETENCE!!!!

Why go to supreme court when you know the chief justice will rule against you?ndc be smart,I'm very disappointed in the leadership, you big but little action, cowards.

  • The EC didn't even respect the SC's application. 11 months ago

If the NDC didn't believe in the courts, they'd have had their way despite taking power bc if it were the NPP, they'd have been bloody. Ofui.

  • Abass 11 months ago

NANABA 1, don't forget that NDC has both judges and lawyers who fully have knowledge about the laws governing EC. If Nana Addo SC judges come out with draconian law to favour their traditional NPP MPs it won't work.

  • Yaw 11 months ago

It always works. The judge can twist the law as and when. Even clear law about vacant seats we all heard the ruling. They should have just ignored the recolation since it is not part of electoral proceedings and recognize the ...

This is a process. They can choose to debate or ignore their requests. The initial winners by the various presiding officers are going to be sworn in parliament. If not, what happened 8 years ago will be small.

The recollation ordered by the EC which ended up with the initial seven winners losing their seats to the NPP could have plunged to country into bloodshed if the NDC had not acted maturely. If it was the the NPP who had lost ...

If I understand correctly, the NDC is saying that even if the results were called in their favour without the results from the rest of the polling stations, it doesn't rest with the EC to over turn those results no matter the ...

They will rule against the NDC. That court is not there for justice but to fight the NDC. The earlier the NDC fights back the better for the party.

The CJ will be utterly stupid to preside over this case, and appoint known NPP sympathizers to sit on this case. If Chief Justice Torkonoo has morals she should listen to this advise.

  • Ghanabi Kofi 11 months ago

I thought election disputes are high court cases. If the supreme court throw this case out for lack of jurisdiction...the ndc will cry fowl.
Meanwhile they know this matter is not for Supreme court.
