Addison is a damn liar. Why did he wait till now to come up with this lame excuse for shutting down those banks? The bank closures was a scheme by Akufo-Addo and his Finance Minister to intentionally shut down banks that they felt would be funding the NDC in the 2024 elections. This rubbish about the IMF is just like the government stupidly blaming the pandemic for its terrible mishandling of Ghana's economy. If one is to believe Addison's bullshit lie, then question remains, "Why did the IMF not also chime in about the Finance Minister Ofori-Atta's corrupt and unethical dealing by steering government business to a bank that he owned?". The IMF had nothing to do with those bank closings, it was all part of the diabolical break the 9 scheme, and Addison became a puppet in that scheme because he was being handsomely rewarded by the government.

It is unfortunate that partisan politics, propaganda fake information is making it difficult for some Ghanaians to understand what were put in place for the future progress of Ghana by NPP.

Posterity will judge the Nana Addo government's policies, particularly digitisation, education, agriculture, judiciary, defence, police service, general public safety, transport, health and infrastructure, banking sector clean up, and conclude that they did their best, given the global economic and financial circumstances.
