The hung parliament was enough to indicate that he lost the 2020 election. The message from Ghanaians was very eloquent, but he continued to turn a deaf ear to it and refused to change thinking that "state capture" would still rescue the situation in 2024. However, Ghanaians were united in their resolve to defend their votes against all odds, leading to his devastating defeat.
