In Ghana today, do you think that even close relatives can help? They are themselves facing a lot of problems and find it difficult to cater for their own children. Do you think that they will want to add to their burden when it comes to boarding and feeding? Growing up at Koforidua, l knew of a family of twelve boys and girls living in a single room with their mother on mats, and some did not even have pillows. It is not easy, especially if one is young and on orphan. Who shall feed such a person at the village? Clothing and work will be another problem.
