If you are a father,you cannot run away from your responsibility just because you are no longer in a relationship with the mother.If you are in employment,the money would be taken out of your salary and,paid to the woman.

It is important to know the child benefit is universal. Child support is what the father of the child pays towards the upkeep of the child.All these payments are formalised and,not left to the father to negotiate.
You cannot father a child in the UK and then,run away from your responsibilities as can happen in Ghana.
