It's the day before the D-day, and the need to finish hard on the strategic positioning is on and swinging, rock-hard like a Mandingo bula matari in heat! When Naniamaians are in heat for spoils and goodies, there's no telling the potency of their restlessness: they can rape, dry or wet, any juicy orifice in sight! Eye-red-o-o-o!

Indeed, the sight or smell of any mouth-watering, juicy opportunity for spoils is what most ably activates their ingenuity and sharpens their creativity! A most rational, if not overly rational, being, you may term them!

Not only can they smell opportunities from afar; but also, incredibly, they can see and generate opportunities in most unlikely circumstances. A people who can sell and buy hallucinatory madness can sell and buy anything -- and everything! They can sell even condoms to a Roman Father! In a country called Naniama, sorry, I mean Ghana, even madness can be commodified!

On matters of greed and spoils, Naniamaians never disappoint! I knew that it wouldn't be long before even the losers in the elections come out publicly announcing a claim of how much they invested into the winner’s winning of the elections!

Even the retention of the nr 3 position on the ballot papers by one of the losers has taken on a force of spiritual imperative that not only enabled the winner to retain his nr 8 position but also won him the elections! It is this supposed, if not imaginary, feat attained by the nr 3-positioned loser that is being posed as his investment into the electoral victory of the winner; it is a SUPPOSED feat SUPPOSEDLY attained against all SUPPOSED bribery onslaughts from the nr 1-positioned loser to change the positions on the ballot papers. It is this feat, -- supposed one, that is, -- that they want to translate into spoils for nr 3-positioned loser! Tell me if there's anything that can beat this marketing ingenuity with its touch of spirituality! Wow, my people are good! Chei! Only in Naniama!

It looks as if prophets and pastors in some churches in Ghana are done with propagating the word of God. From Monday to Saturday one hears nothing but NDC and NPP, accusations and counter accusations from both parties and on Sundays, one prepares to go to church to listen to the word of God which edifies the body and soul only to go and listen to the same political talks. Some prophets and pastors have turned the pulpit into political campaign platforms which is sad. Every church is made up of all political divide supporters so if a pastor or prophet take sides and lambast a particular party during his sermon, then I pity the church members.

The success of the NDC at the polls has nothing to do with the numbers assigned to the parties during the elections. Ghanaians were fed up with the NPP and they were ready to vote that party out of power.
