It was unethical knowing that he was not there. He could not defend himself. Rather you have abused the right to free speech knowing very well that nobody was there to reply to that rubbish you were speaking, He could not defend himself. Parliament was used as an avenue by a thief to speak nonsense. Is it because he found you to be a thief? I wish the case had travelled its full course. You would have been in jail. Any constitutional review (which is long overdue), should urgently address this issue.
