If a $5 million housing contract was awarded just 12 days after an election defeat, it raises critical questions about due diligence, necessity, and timing. Was the contract genuinely in the best interest of the nation, or was it rushed to serve other purposes? These are the discussions we need to have.

What needs to be of concern is whether the transaction followed due process in a transparent and fair manner.
