We need a long term lasting solution to this problem and that's stem cell research. We can literally grow these organs such as kidneys, heart, lungs etc in the labs and use that for transplant but bioethics won't allow us to do this. I think we should overlook some ethics and go ahead and embrace stem research to enhance quality of lives. If we can allow people to take their own life (euthanasia) why can't we use a unwanted fetus to grow body parts to save lives?
