That was Ato Forson's personal view. Now it's government policy to reintroduce the toll and he cannot do otherwise. Also e-levy was used as the reason for the cancellation of the road toll; a levy that was supposed to be a panacea to all our economic woes. Unfortunately that didn't happen. The new NDC government has promised to abolish the obnoxious e-levy so it makes sense to bring back the road toll.

The country is a failed state. Customs, road and bridge tolls is what keeps Togo and Benin republic running non of such are allowed.near any toll booth. If every body brings a table to the street to sell what will happen- destruction of median barrirers, destruction of safety fences, kerbs, road islands, stealing of street lights and cables, All the safety fence on Laps Walker Bush road are all gone for scraps.These days people cry for pedestrian bridges once it's done people refuse to use it. Check Madina - Adenta road, Mallam market crossing have become white horses, I give credit to Oko Vanderpuie for erecting kerbs to restrict one lane at a time in some of the streets Adabraka and Henry Quartey please your Madina Zongo Junction road safety improvemnt works all is gone. Ghana Police is all gone to the ground because of politics. Enforcers pls wake up. National Road Safety Authority wake up go to the fields not just accident report and data you are mandated to provide. Those are data. FDA, GSA also go to the field for observation, monitoring and enforcement. May God save Ghana from srate capture, miscreasnts, hoodlums who set bush fires along our highways destroying countless trees time and time again along Legon road and univerity authorities look on unconcerned when ther is campus security.
