Found it convenient to promote his best friend Maj Gen JP Osei as the COS. They finally ended up promoting themselves to Generals and Lt Generals. Btw what is the strength of the GAF to have a General as the CDS? Thought provoking.

They have no choice, but they should give room to other equally competent security heads to also serve Ghana. I learnt the IG Dampare said his fear is that he will not get any competent Police officer to step in his shoes. Then it means he has failed as a leader. Leaders are supposed to mentor, groom and train their subordinates to take over from them in their absence. So if can't find any officer among the 40,O000 plus police officers to continue his do called good works, then he has no business still remaining at post.
