The selfishness and greed of kuffour and Akuffo addo goes to show how greedy asantes are. One man wants to claim everything for his kids. Even if we give Ashanti region to Asante Hebe, they will still be greedy and choose to make everyone poor and serve as subjects instead of empowering them. These idiots should stop thinking like they can fight their way out into forming a country from Ghana. This would never happen. They might need to fight it out and many of them will be beheaded like the way they hope to behead people who protest against their insanity.

I grew up in Asanteman and even as children, we were taught to know that the Great Oath CANNOT BE INVOKED IN VAIN. Growing up in Wiamoase, we learned that if this Oath is invoked by anybody, the accused and the accuser have to be invited by the Paramount Chiefs or the Asanteman Council to substantiate such accusations and denials. Nana Asantehene, what you said is even known by children are babies in Asanteman.
Asantes have certain exclusive laws. For example, any person can invoke the Spirit of Antoa Nyama to curse any person or to defend a case or an accusation without a proof. At KWABERE SEKYERE, if one invoked the Spirit of the god Antoa Nyama without cause, the person could be summoned to the Palace the Paramount Chief to perform some rites which can be very expensive. Bossy, spirit of the god can be invoked anywhere if the accusations and denials are true. If my, the vengeance of the Antoa Deity can wrought havoc on the persons using it. The Asantehene cannot prevent people from invoking the Spirit of the Antoa Nyama if the accusations and Denials are true.

No piece of land belongs to the Asantehene. He doesn’t traditionally and legally own any such properties. Every traditional land in the areas you mentioned BELONG TO THE ASANTEMAN COUNCIL but not Asantehene. Don’t you also know the limits of what the Asantehene is allowed to traditionally do in Asanteman? He cannot enstool or destool any Paramount Chief. That is done by the Council of Asanteman. The Asantehene is very much respected in Ghana and Asanteman but has no arbitrary powers to do what he wants. There is now a friction between the Asantehene and Kumawu Paramountcy because the Asantehene tried to destool the Kokofu Paramount Chief which he cannot do traditionally because the Asantehene and Kokofu Paramount Chief are all Paramountcy and none of them has control over the other. For the Asantehene to dominate, dictate to, enstool or destool any of the Paramount Chiefs of the AMANTOUR states, New Juaben and the Oti region is totally very very unacceptable.
The Asantehene for example is the most respected Paramount Chief of Ghana. The Akyem, and the Akan speaking Akwapem people are autonomous and do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Asantehene. Though New Juaben is part of the Asanteman Council, the Asantehene cannot dictate to this Paramount Chief. He once tried it during the reign of Oti Boateng as the Paramount Chief of New Juaben. It was the celebration of the AKWASIDAE KESE which is traditionally celebrated at Kumasi. The Asantehene wanted all, including foreign dignitaries to know that he is the greatest Chief in Asanteman.(which is not true.). He directed that no other Chief should ride in any Palanquin besides him. He wanted the whole World to know his superiority in Ghana. He wanted all the Chiefs of the AMANTOUR STATES to walk to the Durban grounds. This incited the wrath of Oti Serebour when he learned about that at KNUST junction. He immediately asked his driver to return to Koforidua and did not attend the Durban. I have learned the Kumawu and Nsuta Paramount Chiefs were equally offended..
It should be noted that no land traditionally belongs to the Asantehene but rather to the Asanteman Council. This should be drummed into the ears of the Asantehene and his Yeah followers. The World is becoming more educated and civilized so the Asantehene should know and understand that he cannot have the Powers that have not been traditionally conferred to him. Traditionally, he is the Paramount Chief of Kumasi and not the King of Asante or Ghana as some of his followers would want the World to believe. Other Akans, and Paramount Chiefs of Ghana will recognize that claim. He should be content with what is accorded him traditionally, or try to visit Canada. Their Prisons are not full yet. They can have a place for him to live there. Hahahaha.
