The country she not encourage these behaviours where all political civil and public servants purchase governmt properties every four yrs. Soon the entire country will b in private hands. Then the next subsequent generation will start using executive legislative etc powers to take properties from private owners such as chiefs and citizens. This will lead to civil war. Nobody should buy any gov properties. If the property eg cars become over age 15yrs...the cars should all be listed published and uctioned publicly for all ghanaians to partake.alternatively the vehicles can be taken apart in a confined environmt, and the various parts used as parts to repair similar models still in use.

That vehicle was still in excellent condition after 12 years of use. In fact, the condition was so pristine that the mechanic who was asked to assess it wanted me to sell it to him instead of his customer.

A 9 year old well maintained toyota V8 should still be worth a substantial amount of money. Thirteen-thousand is not much.

It seems to me that the Greater Accra NDC should cleanse itself from all these clowns who have somehow managed to get critical positions in the regional office of their party. A couple of weeks ago I think it was the Regional Secretary, another loose canon, who was issuing out his own exclusive plans and ideas for the Party. It is strange that whilst his Excellency the President elect has been trying to cool public concerns over the misdemeanors of over-enthusiastic party members going berserk and taking over state property, senior executives of the Accra region - no less, are doing the opposite.

All these cast a very bad public image for the NDC and needless to say, the desperate Nkwasiafour Peoples Party (NPP) will exploit these weaknesses to the best of their advantage.

Is the public to understand that the national executives of the NDC are just sitting there twiddling their thumbs and picking their noses whilst one of the most important nerve centers of the party is cracking up?

That being the case, the good people of this country cannot also afford to allow this kind of disorderliness to threaten our 2nd independence. I suggest that any member of the executive who cannot work with the Regional Chairman must be immediately removed before the problems boil over. We can ignore the excesses of grassroots political activists but when a whole Regional Organizer - of Accra, stoops as low as to hijack cars, contrary to Presidential directives, he must be handed over to the Police. I agree with Ataadwe that the National executive of the NDC has not done enough for the Party. If this is the quality of Regional executives, then what have the National executives been doing for the past 4 years?

If there is any wrongdoing, there is due process to follow and public officials put in place by the president to handle such cases. Why should you, a party individual without any public powers vested in you just go in Rambo style and take over a lawfully acquired vehicle from its owner just because you believe it was auctioned and bought at a low price? Your action is criminal. So now any aggrieved person can just get up and do whatever s/he thinks is right, all in the name of resetting Ghana? Nukpenu, you are also a criminal. At least that person followed due process and bought the vehicle, what about you? You confiscated it, paid nothing and intend to keep it or negotiate with the owner for your personal gain. Is that not corruption which you accuse the previous administration officials of? Shame unto you !! When given any public office, you will all be corrupt because of chop-chop.
