The minister of Tourism should have been someone with a business background. This is a ministry if well managed could bring in billions of dollars to the country. Just look at countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Kenya, Dubai etc. etc Ghana is not maximizing its tourist potential. There are so many poorly developed tourist sites across the country such as the Wli waterfall in the Volta Region, the Afadzato, etc. etc The new Minister should have a stakeholders meeting to discuss the sector and what could be done to upgrade it.
