I was hoping it would be a divine opportunity for Mahama to get it right and really work for Ghana . Not to say these guys aren’t smart or intelligent. But when you give appointments as rewards, there’s no zeal for them to work hard for Ghanaians. The appointments become the end game; when instead it should have been the starting point.

An appointee should have worked hard for Ghanaians to justify the position. But when it’s a reward for party work, he or she feels they’ve already “worked hard” and it’s time to enjoy . I do acknowledge that the two conditions could play out simultaneously. But in our history, I’ve never seen it happen that someone who was appointed because of their work in opposition worked so hard to advance the course of citizens. I hope this may be the first time. But I’m sad
