  Now I understand why President Mahama described Ghanaians as being short-minded. During his first term, Akuffo-Addo did bring this up, through his minister responsible for local government throughout all the regionsof Ghana, to let Ghanaians elect their own local, district and regional representatives, BUT the same NDC people swore heaven and earth not to allow that to happen in Ghana. Why do you hate Akuffo-Addo so much?

  It will be good if we elect them. However, the same monetization that we are complaining of at the national level is likely to be more. Printing of posters, going round the district to campaign and all that will be costly.
