It is obvious that Joseph Paintsil lacks a proper understanding of the office of a prophet. A prophet is literally a mouthpiece of God. It is the exclusive right of God to choose a prophet. It is a human choice or craving to be a prophet. More importantly, a prophet is chosen by God for a specific task. Once the job is completed and the Lord has moved on, the person is no longer a mouthpiece of God. A prophet must be firm on scripture. A prophet must be Christian-centric.
