Now which is prudent, free school fees or providing more accommodation for all students to be able to afford? I really don't know but I think Ghanaian politicians are cursed because they think through their anus, it's simple logic provide more decent affordable accommodation, create employment, let students pay fees through student loans and provide them jobs for them to pay off the loans after graduation. Stop the free here free there which you politicians use to fleece us.

It look to me that Ghanaians are insulting countries like Cuba and Russia were we send our children to for free education.
If free education is not good for Ghanaians why on Earth should they send their children to places where education is free acquire knowledge. Free education was first introduced by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's CPP government in 1962, from primary 1 to the Phd. level.
Free education helped a lot of people and it produced some of the best intellectuals who should have been left out of the education system if education were not made free.
In 1962 some of us had pupil in our classes, some of whom could be our parents, since free education in that period was not only free but compulsory.
In the villages those days a parent could be arrested and prosecuted for not sending the child to school.
Those were also the days that members of the Young Pioneers were bombed by members of the opposition because they believe that they must kill their mothers and praise the mothers of their colonizers.
The grandchildren of some of those who were throwing the bombs at toddlers are now members of Ghana's parliament, who take pride in those criminal acts of their forefathers.
They claim that Young Pioneers are thought to report their parents to state security agencies.
But if I am not a bomb thrower or a criminal why should I be worried that my child will report me to the security services.
I is a fact that through their act they tried to criminalize the witness in the court, something they have been using against people during trials.
I am not sure if our courts or constitution bans witnesses from our courts.
A citizen owns it as a duty to report a crime when it occurs to the security services. He is also by duty empowered to prevent a crime when he found our that a person or group of people intend to commit a crime. He thus had the duty to prevent a person who is about to inflict wounds on himself or take his own life.
And after preventing the person from commiting the crime, reports him or effect a citizen arrest, take the one who was about to commit a crime or has committed it to the security services for prosecution.

What was the size of the population? Was it hard to find job? Why do black people always want free here and free there? Is it because we are lazy? For God sake we are a developing country. We don't have the resources. We need jobs to take care of ourselves. Jobs jobs, jobs, that's all government needs to work on and develop our infrastructure. Are you happy the way our education system is now? The traffic light system? Quality not Quantity.
