  Their elite, after graduating from university stay in the south. All they are interested in is politics. The Mahamas and Akrugus of this world never go back to their roots to help their people. Gyimii saa!

  Who should be blamed. Up north, philanthropists are rare to come by. What they have most is alms givers. I remember when one Nana Antwi died in Sekyedumasi in the Ashanti Region, the proceeds of his funeral donations were used to build a dormitory for the community secondary school. This will never happen in the North. The southerners are more philanthropic than the northerners.

  Yeah Take or Pay demon I’m from Zebilla in the Upper East region but I grew up in Sekyedumase, and attended Sekyedumase Senior High School…Seko City have more people who come home from the diaspora to support the Community, they even built an ultramodern ward for the community hospital to improve the living conditions of my people in Seko recently ….Northern politicians and those in the diaspora should look back home and support our communities back home …they are suffering

  All the elites in the North are stomach-directed idiots who should not be given any chance in governance. Yes, I said and careless about who throw insults at me. What happened to the free education given to them by Nkrumah and since his overthrow in 1966, all his programs ended leaving the free education so what happened to it? The most annoying part is, they are the ones criticizing Nana Addo's policy, and their people are the ones who are at the mercy of everything in Ghana. Nkwaseafuo.

  So called free education for northern Ghana during Nkrumah’s rule was from a special endowment left to Ghana in recognition of the neglect of the north during their rule regards education and educational infrastructure. Not government revenue!
  At independence there were only about a couple of institutions beyond middle school established by the government in the north.
  Neglect of education has continued since Nkrumah’s overthrow.The one and only university in the north was established by Rawlings.
  Why do “northerners”flock to the south? Because the north is neglected and jobs are mainly in the south and has always been the case.
  Please acknowledge the neglect and the fact northern labor has more than contributed its share to the development of our nation.
  Shift the blame to where it rightfully lies.Education is a human right and the responsibility of government.
  Corruption and reckless economic management including the lunacy of a national cathedral are responsible for the neglect of northern education and not northerners being irresponsible or staying in the south
