Since EOCO was formed, how much has it cost to run it and how much have they recovered for the state. Before Tiwaa was appointed, what good work did EOCO do? Who have they prosecuted. Very similar institution to the Special prosecutor's office. Sounds good on paper but useless.
Is it leadership or it's just a clumsy organisation that just sucks money but does no good. Judging from mahama's appointments nothing good would come from whoever replaces Tiwaa. Have mahama asked his appointee to declare their assets as required by law. If he hasn't then nothing good will come from his administration because any serious law abiding president will first of all ask his ministers to follow the law. Just watch this space. Same old mahama, same old ministers, same old thieves

It is only in Ghana that merchant in cctv cameras and other security gadgets can graduate and metamorphose into security experts without anyone interrogating his/her certificate(s) or background. All one needs is to get some radio and tv stations and pay them so handsome monies. They will do the work for you and sooner the person becomes security expert per their own prescription. Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, then a junior police officer on the case, had custody of some of the seized cocaine exhibit. Miraculously, the cocaine in Tiwaa's custody turned into kokonte powder, making it difficult to prosecute the suspects. Tiwaa was rightly disciplined (I think she was dismissed from the police service), but STRANGELY, she was later reinstated and she was even promoted. Her political connections with the then ruling party was quite obvious!
