Afenyo has even forgotten that, prior to the December 7 elections, his own presidential candidate, Bawumia promised ministers. It's very surprising that Afenyo really thinks Mahama needs his opinion. Instead of being humble and reflective about the massive defeat his party, at the NPP suffered at the elections, Afenyo is rather desperately trying to do the nonsensical.

So far, he has established himself as playing politics and not having anything of substance to talk about. It looks like he did not learn from his party's dismal performance and incompetence, and he is ready to continue with that. Fortunately, Ghanaians are more aware of the NPP's incompetence and corruption and empty promises and won't fall for that this time. Afenyo-Markin has the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the new government rather than setting himself up for failure.
