Here we go AGAIN, people.
Kofi Adams is now the new sports minister in Ghana. Why is he talking about E-Levy or cashless economy? Yes, there is freedom of speech, but state officials in (their) certain capacities should MAKE comments about issues regarding their own sector ministry. As a (new) sports minister, he should start talking about plans for rejuvenating sports in the country. FOCUS AND SPEAK MAINLY ABOUT SPORTS.
The E-Levy and taxes are for the Ghana finance minister to talk about and deal with. Let that finance minister speak to it.
Ministers and other govt officials must be seen to be talking about and fixing issues in their assigned ministries. Allowing ministers to talk about other sectors, which they do not manage, undermines those sector ministries and shows how week this govt may be in disseminating information appropriately and at the right time. So, Sports minister, MIND YOUR OWN SECTOR'S BUSINESS! The President should caution/mandate that these new ministers concentrate and speak to happenings in their assigned sector.
