If he was smart in politics, he should have known that NPP was going to lose the elections due to Akufo Addo's ungratefulness to Ashanti Region voters and his abandonment of development projects in the region. Alan would have been the natural choice to be NPP flagbearer in 2028. Based on Akufo Addo's behaviour and mistreatment, he should have just taken leave to step aside from the NPP with the express promise of returning to fix what Akufo Addo has destroyed in the Party instead of resigning from the Party and badmouthing a party he helped form. Right now he has zero credibility as a Politician
