The 20 female MPs were absolutely right, and we should celebrate them as heroines rather than cast them as stumbling blocks who blocked the passage of the bill.

Correct. Is it a situation where the mps themselves are having side chick's and they are afraid to loose them if the law is passed.

  • @ Mr Ibu 1 year ago

Spot on! How difficult was it to amend the bill ? And yeah I concur in your submission, men ought to inherit the properties of their dearly departed wives as well

  • Fokoah. 1 year ago

Are some of them also not side chicks of some men?

  • Truth 1 year ago

I strongly support the women point. Why should you have a share when your situation does not qualifies you as a wife. Get married morenor loose everything.

He is not even ashamed that they wanted to enact such a stupid law. How does a side-chick get rewarded for her immorality? Their children can inherit their father but not the side-chick herself.

Sides chicks cannot inherit the properties because they not legally recognized by both families as well as the society as well. The bill will also help to improve the intestate succession law
