Digitalisation has did not originate from Bawumia. Digitalisation has been ongoing in both private and public sectors for decades, driven by global technological advancement. Many of us can recall the replacement of typewriters with computers in various offices, the 'rise and fall' of businesses such as Internet café, "com" centres, space-to-space, etc as a result of advancement in technology. Mobile money came on board, the banks introduced Internet banking platforms,etc. Controller and Accountant General Dept e-payslips (eliminating bulk printing of payslips for government workers). SSNIT introduced biometric ID card, WAEC introduced online results checking and so on. Those who want to 'fall' for the Bawumia digital delusion are free to so. But some of us have witnessed, and continue the digital storm long before Bawumia decided to make himself the 'father of digitalisation' - the situation that I call the Bawumia digital delusion or Bawumia digital deception.

After Prof took over in 2009, some people have collected their cards while others couldn't collect theirs due to some errors that occurred. I tell you I couldn't collect my own due to such errors but my wife collected hers. After 2009, it was thought the new Gov't of Prof. Mills would continue but for 8 years of Prof and JDM, nothing happened until 2017 when Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia came to continue and the linking of the Ghana Card to all other ID Cards, including Bank Accounts, SSNIT, NHIS, Driver's License and Hospital Registration Card. Please, check for true facts instead of dishonestly propagating lies to defame Prof and JDM.
