  My sentiments exactly. It borders on lunacy to the extent of a national crisis Ghanaians' obsession on who captains the Black Stars. Leadership skills is usually the requirement of a captain and not who the best player is. The best player on team is not usually the team captain, but sometimes when the best player also possess leadership skills, then he is made the captain. Fo example, Brazil was captained by defender Cafu to its World Cup championship 1992 eventhough it had great players the likes of Romario, Bebeto, Ednilson, Careca, etc.
