So what is the case for Ghana? What do our citizenship laws say. We have an influx of illegal Fulani immigrants in the country, having been driven out of their countries for their violence, shouting they are Ghanaians. And the chorus they all sing, obviously having been couched by their enlightened fellow Fulanis in Ghana to lie to force themselves on the clueless authorities as citizens, is that they were born in Ghana and that their ancestors were here before independence. Isn't it about time we also re-examined our citizenship laws to discourage violent illegal immigrants from settling in the country and claiming they are citizens by birth?
