Even though Supreme Court has granted A-Gs immunity, ie the public do not owe them any explanations on the issue of any nolle prosequi entered on any criminal or civil case, this A-G ( Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine) , in the interest of good governance, transparency and the public must know deemed it fit to explain his discretionary powers to the public with feedbacks. This is not whimsical and capricious unlike what we saw in the previous regime. This is not abuse of power. Samson is not touching on the merits or demerits of Dr Ayine 's opinion on the substantive case. He is on the side of Dr. coming out publicly to explain against the status quo. Let's get it clearer now and stop crucifying the seasoned Lawyer and private legal practitioner, innocent, award winning and most enviable gentleman, Samson Lardy Anyenini..!!
