  This shows that you are not a smart lawyer. A prudent lawyer would have waited for the judge to pronounce Dr. Opuni innocent. Based on your own argument, the case had no merit. Therefore the judge should have by all means ruled in favour of Dr. Opuni. Your hasty withdrawal of all these 8 cases less than a month after being sworn in fuels the perception that you are bent on freeing all the accused persons. And please note that public perception is very difficult to change. This is just a lesson to all of you public officers. You should weigh all the merits and demerits of any decision that you want to take. The perception out there (in the public domain ) about public officers is not pleasant

  Look some evidences for these cases were made from duress, and conjuncture. We have forgotten a judge just discontinued a case against former GFA boss because a key witness will not show up with open face.
  
  I am trying to say, most of these cases should have been thrown out the same way on technical grounds if not they were political and the judges were doing someone's bidding.
  
  We are very dishonest for pretending these issues were not over stretched to satisfy some people complaining today for simply being followed by disgruntled person.
  That is not to say, the disgruntled persons are right but I just find this double standards from NPP annoying but understandable.
  I have observed that is how everyone who follows NPP think.
  They are precious, perfect and superior to everyone but once they err, we are told they have to be treated kindly than anyone else.
  
  NPP are the true characters of the pigs, Slow boy and Napoleon in Animal Farm.
