  I had to leave Ghana. I have never lived in a country that is lawless like Ghana and the system and leaders deliberately work against the people. There is no accountability in this country. The landlords are wicked, lazy and greedy at the same time. The Ghana rent act states that landlords are not supposed to take no more than 6 month advance in rent and the agents are only entitled to 5% agent fees but the greedy landlords won't pay them, so they cheat the tenants and all of this is allowed. My advice to anyone wanting to rent, go to another country. And don't even think about buying land
  oo...everyone is in on the land scam especially in accra, the agents, chiefs, attorney, developers, judges. That system in that country is designed to make people suffer.
