  1. A person who holds a public office mentioned in clause (5) of this article shall submit to the Auditor-General a written declaration of all property or assets owned by, or liabilities owed by, him whether directly or indirectly A. within three months AFTER THE COMING INTO FORCE of this Constitution or BEFORE TAKING OFFICE, as the case may be.
  
  They are all self-seekers and sticky-fingers, this political class or crowd.

Their criminal activities during 8 years period of NPP government, the that took place is unprecidented in the history of Ghana. Is now time for them to cough it out and also go to jail.

For this reason and considering how corrupt we are it will be right if assets of these appointees are published in the national newspapers for all to see. My take

  Let EOCO investigate all prosecute all former appointees who didn't declare their assets. If possible seize all their properties by using laws to assume they were stolen assets.
  Change the constitution and make it clear that any any appointee who doesn't declare his assets before assuming office will loose all his assets to the states after he/she exits office. It will automatically become state property acquired for the state during your tenure.

  Change the constitution and make it clear that any appointee who doesn't declare his assets before assuming office will loose all his assets to the states after he/she exits office. All his assets will automatically become state property acquired for the state during your tenure.
