The Nkitinkiten Peoples Party do not seem to be able to pick themselves up from their tantrums after their historic loss to a much superior Party.

Gbagbin, even for his age, has shown that he is an extraordinary Ghanaian. He has taken full charge of his responsibilities without apologies to anyone. He has brought style, charm and initiative into the humdrum of parliamentary procedure. Needless to say, whether one appreciates this or not, he stands out as probably the most memorable of all Speakers since independence and history will certainly recognize him.

On the contrary, the obscure Joe Wise, who whenever he was given the opportunity to assume the position, was lacklustre and served merely as a bench-warmer. He is not even visible on the radar of parliamentary history in Ghana.
