To those who are criticizing the need for Chinese language in Ghana. Remember that China is about to be the next world superpower, as the US is in the process of surrendering that status. Many countries have started introducing Chinese language into their curriculum in anticipation of the need for that language in the very near future. You either get onboard now or be left trying to do catch up. The US is actively dismantling every structures that make them a superpower. There’s not even one country in the world, apart from Israel, that has faith in the US anymore.

Does this idiot know the financial cost involved in introducing a new language in our education nationwide? First of all, you can imagine the amount involved in training tens of thousands of teachers in the Chinese language and the amount they will be paid as salaries every month in addition to the cost of teaching and learning materials for the subject. If you have all the money for this why not eradicate schools under the trees, renovate our dilapidated schools, provide enough and good furniture for pupils/students, provide sufficient textbooks for already existing subjects, etc.? Our leaders are very stupid and this country will go no where with their stupidity. Already, Muslims have managed to smuggle Arabic into the curriculum for Islamic schools and the tax payer has to bear the cost for the promotion of their religion. Image this stupidity! It can only get worse with a Muslim education minister. Watch him carefully and you will see him promoting pro-Islam agenda in our education while fighting off Christianity in mission schools.

Do we use our heads at all? We should debate perhaps having Twi as our official language. Our beloved country is being plunged into poverty road. It's unthinkable, how our so called leaders think. How can you introduce Chinese language into our schools? Have you been to China? I have walked in the streets of Beijing and lodged in various hotels, every writing I saw was in their language. While not in English, Spanish or twi? Do you think Chinese care about you? Will China add our local Twi into their public schools? Some of our leaders are simply childish. Even our second language: English, how many of our children are able to learn, speak and write well? God save our homeland Ghana.
