Former NPP General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong loses mom

Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has reportedly lost his mother, Comfort Agyepong (née Adjoa Badu).

Kwabena Agyepong announced his mother’s passing in a Facebook post on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

In the said post, the former NPP General Secretary described his mother as “a pillar of strength, love, and resilience.”

“With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Mrs. Comfort Agyepong (née Adjoa Badu), on February 18, 2025.

“She was a pillar of strength, love, and resilience. She now rests with my father, Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong,” he wrote.

Kwabena Agyepong, a former NPP presidential candidate hopeful, also stated that further details would be shared in due course.

“May her soul rest in perfect peace… #RestWellMom #ForeverInOurHearts,” he concluded.
