Of course Adwoa caused the party's defeat in her constituency. She was bitter for being removed as a leader in Parliament and for being contested by Oquaye Jr. The party was aware of it but probably overlooked it because of the over 30,000 votes difference in previous elections.
Unfortunately she was allowed to follow the presidential candidate around while the Constituency was neglected. This should be a big lesson to the NPP going into the 2028 elections. There were similar cases across the country but we're all ignored.
An example is Charles Owusu who was originally with the PPP. After being sorted out by the late Sir John with a huge office at the forestry Commission, contested the NPP candidate in Nkoranza as an independent . candidate.

There is the saying in a local adge that when you lock "a supposed fool in a room, and that fool roams in the room for some time he or she will get to see the door way" a nd that is the exact thing that has happened to the azaarn npp party in that unique constituent.
For a longer time the npp thought they were fooling the good people in that community until the unexpected happened and they are now crying.

The reason they exposed the Adwoa team is simple.

1. Adwoa wants to try and run again, so
2. She made some of her team come out to blame the execs that they removed 600 names from the album and this led to their defeat
3. The Executives were forced to respond that there was no removal of 600 names and that they should bring the list of removed names.
4. They then proceeded to show that Adwoa and her team campaigned and voted skirt and blouse and this rather caused the npp candidate to not win the parliamentary.
5. They also showed that even though the parliamentary candidate got about three thousand votes more than the Presidential candidate he lost by 200 or so votes because of the Adwoa skirt and blouse. All her church members walked pass the parliamentary but voted Presidential and even some voted for Elikplim. Everybody saw it and complained but they just walked off.
6. They also provided proof that Adwoa was given cloth by Hon. Naa Torshie but NDC rather shared that cloth because Adwoa gave it to Elikplim and not npp. She was also given money but it was rather used by her team members to do skirt and blouse campaign.

This behaviour by Adwoa against npp interests is too selfish and too much.
