Please Hon Minister, not that the managers of the Axle Load Operator, the policemen attached to the axle points,and some Drivers are collaborators in stealing the charges instead of the state gaining. Police collect money from drivers or the driver will be made to pay the penalty at a reduced charge to the manager without official receipt.Axle points should be installed with cctv and linked to an operation room.There is serious collusion going on there.

Oyiwa! Committees galore. Committees have become a disguise for creating jobs for NDC supporters. Committees are funded from the consolidated fund so it is adding to government expenditure on the executive and not reducing it ...

Build a weigh station at ports to check the weight of the heavy truck before they exit. Those not in compliance, will have to offload their goods to meet the minimum weight as required by law. Also, this will require a warehouse.

People at the ports taking bribes may render this initiative useless.
