The next move is moving those equipments to ndc regional offices and then they will vanish.

  • Dansu 10 months ago

This is a small brains talk. Go around the districts and see where most of them are lying idle whilst other districts needed such equipment.

  • dboyy 10 months ago

Have you asked why they are idle? They simply do no have fuel.

  • Jaffaru 10 months ago

Why didn't Akufo Monkey buy the fuel. DCEs and MCEs are yet to be named. Appointing NPP supporters after 7th December but left 5 hours of fuel for the country. Is the monkey not stupid?

No normal thinking Ghanaian should take NPP serious this time around. All their aim is to see to it that NDC must fail, but it won't work.

  • Nii 10 months ago

Why would such equipments be moved to regional capitals when they are needed at the local areas? This hasty decision defeats the purpose of decentralisation of devt thru the districts that the same NDC has been promoting.

  • Okotoblija 10 months ago

No bro , it would kerb excesses and dodgy dealings from others. It needs to be monitored 24/7. In addition, could be mobilised asap as and when needed.

  • Levelz 10 months ago

You are not assured of 100% mobilization when emergency cases arises due to distances from the regional capitals to the district levels. And are you saying there are no dodgy dealings in the regional capitals.

  • Owan Yaw aka Teteman Ubi 10 months ago

This is intended to be a District/Municipal/Metropolitan program. So moving the equipment to the Regional Offices is a very bad and ill informed decision. Whoever brought up the idea did a bad job.

  • Lya 10 months ago

It's alleged, most of these equipments were " galamsey machines in some peoples hands

  • Edem 10 months ago

Look at dis? I don't know ur age but u must be dining with KG and some creche fo) bi. President acting on allegations. And Galamsey is going on in Accra and Volta. Some of u sake cheap data u make nkwaseasem keke.

  • Asante 10 months ago

These equipment are best kept in the districts. Districts can borrow from each other if need be. Better still, we can concentrate them in pools around the region. The purpose of DRIP would be lost if moved to the regions.

  • IS THIS NII LANTEY VANDERPUYE'S IDEA? HE WANTS POWER. HE WANTS TO GO TO THE OFFICE EVERY MORNING AND SEE ALL THESE MACHINES LINED UP. 10 months ago

Send them to the Regional Headquarters and there will be no maintenance. Instead there will be cannibalization and stealing of parts. In a short while the number of active machines will reduce to zero.

Mr President pls think about the local communities within the district, they need roads. The machines are packed coz you ask the assembly to park them.

  • I am me 10 months ago

Did Mahama make mention of the inheritance of DRIP machines at the SONA? This shows how highly selective Mahama and his NDC sycophants are, but Ghanaians are discerning. They'll allow you ample time to insinuate, only to see ...
